Review by Me : Great for the money.

This a good watch for the money. Other reviewers of the 9212/9211 models have said Invicta is producing a newer version that isn’t as good as the older watches. This watch seems to have the features Invicta removed from the Invicta Men’s 9212 Speedway Collection Chronograph S Watch and Invicta Men’s 9211 Speedway Collection Chronograph Watch.

The gold sections look more coppery than the photos on Amazon. The gold center stripe is quite thin and will wear through with heavy use. The bezel is 44mm wide. Some other Invicta watches from Amazon have been smaller than advertised. This one isn’t. The chronograph works as advertised as well. The generic watch instructions were easy to understand. I learned how to change the time/date and use the chronograph in less than 5 minutes.

This is a great looking watch. I like the feel of it. The price is great on it too. Only thing I will say about this watch is that you need to order the Invicta watch tool. Jewelers will not be able to adjust the links on the watch band. Other than that, it is all good.

This is a nice watch to add to a collection. It is in-expensive yet looks like it cost much more. It is not heavy and I would say it goes more with dress attire.

This is a large watch and it is fairly heavy but it is stainless steel so expect that. The Gold plate is a Rose Gold so will have that reddish copper cast (I like that). I have no idea how long the plating will last but it looks good now . It is a very sharp looking watch. The movement is Swiss made and the instructions I received list it as a RONDA 5030.D (especially glad not Chinese made). Had a Seiko with a Chinese made movement and it didn’t last long . The outside rotating bezel is used to read events in minutes only in 5 minute intervals . The second bezel inside the rotating one can be used with the stop watch sweep hand and will show seconds under one minute that are also marked in 1/5 second increments or can be used to read minutes with the large minute hand. In the stop watch mode the full minutes will be recorded for 30 minutes by the small minute dial then started again while the first 1/2 hour and the next 11 1/2(total 12 hrs hours will be recorded by the small hour dial. Recording the speed of an object or vehicle is done with the stop watch sweep hand read on the Tachymeter bezel. Most people who buy this will know all those things but in case someone doesn’t I included them. The only thing I wish was different is the crystal had a magnifier over the date. Most people won’t have a problem reading it though (I’m an older person). Another reviewer thought the clasp was aluminum but mine is brushed stainless. Band was very large for me and I removed three links, simple with the push pins, they do fit tight though. You get a 5 year free extended warranty through Amazon but you do pay shipping to and $28.00 shipping back if repairs are needed. Would I do that? Yes if the watch was in very good condition outside. The user instructions are clearly written and easy to follow.I have paid four times the price and not gotten a better watch. I got a better watch than expected and probably will never find it for $67.74 like I did here so am very satisfied.
