Stylish enough as an appropriate complement to your contemporary casual couture, the sophisticated Freestyle Cortez analog/digital men’s watch (model 78611) will also keep your training on track with power timing features. This large, round watch offers a strong stainless steel watch case and raised bezel in black ion-plating. The positive black-on-gray dial is supplemented by square silver hour markers along the outer edge and silver skeleton hands with luminous tips and a seconds hand. Timing features include a chronograph and an alarm. It’s matched with a stylish polyurethane strap that tapers as it winds around your wrist. Other features include Night Vision LCD backlighting and water resistance to 100 meters–making it suitable to wear while surfing, swimming, and recreational scuba diving.

The previous reviewer was technically accurate, but I see his negatives as positives. The watch is very heavy, which I love in a watch. The rubber strap is wide and strong, the face is big. It gets noticed. The face uses digital and analog display. The digital read is very clear, but the colors are “reversed.” Imagine if the colors on a digital calculator were switched, that’s the idea. Sorry I don’t know the technical way to describe this… If you can’t read it, you can always hit the button and light it up. This is my third freestyle watch. I love them.

This watch looks impressive, very rugged, great for sports and work. Here are a couple of draw backs… You can hardly see the light display in the dark, I mean it is extremely faint. The second problem is the rist band… the rubber wrist band holder that is supposed to keep the clasp from getting undone is, itself, getting loose and undone. Lastly, it is a tad bit harder to figuer out the functions than most watches I’ve owned.
Overall, I am not that crazy about this Freestyle, especially for the price.
