The Baume & Mercier Men’s Classima Swiss Quartz Watch showcases a crisp white dial embellished with silver-tone Roman numerals to create a classic, sophisticated appeal. Classima Executives watches are the heritage of Baume & Mercier’s watch-making know-how. They offer a style derived from sobriety, a classical, elegant look. Classima Executives reinterprets the brand’s watch-making tradition with mechanical movements with small, useful complications and refined finishings. The timepiece is constructed with a stainless steel case, a round stainless steel bezel, and a textured brown leather wristband secured with an adjustable buckle clasp. A scratch-resistant-sapphire window shields the white dial, which features silver-tone hour markers with Roman numeral accents at six and nine o’clock. The dial also includes slim black minute indexes with Arabic numeral markers at five-minute intervals, and a discrete date calendar at the three o’clock position. Featuring Swiss-quartz movement, the timepiece is water resistant to 99 feet (30 M).

My wife purchased this watch as a 40th birthday present for me. It is a stunning and classic watch! People concerned about buying
luxury watches on Amazon.com should not be in the least. It came with all the proper packaging, documentation and serial number intact. While this product may have been destined to be sold outside the US (an International Warranty Card was included), Amazon.com warranties the product for two years free of defect. The same length in warranty you’d get if purchased from an ‘authorized’ dealer. Did I mention that it is a beautiful watch???

Why are jewelers telling the public NOT to buy from Amazon because you scratch out the serial/model # and no reputable watch repair will touch it!!??

The watch cost me almost double the price because of duties and took me one week to clear from customs. Either this item should not be sent to Istanbul (I have a New York adress) or I should be warned that I would have to pay custom duties.

Baume & Mercier seems to make the minimalist, leather banded watch better than any other brand, and this timepiece is no exception. The face is fairly large (something I aesthetically prefer), but the look is very classy in my opinion. Amazon not only had the lowest price ($600 less than what Tourneau offered me!), but personally guarantees the watch for two years in lieu of the manufacturers warranty. As usual, Amazon delivers!
